In Mon State, according to a statement by the Kyaikto Revolution Force, from the side of the local defense forces, the drone attacked three times at the military council soldiers who were hiding in Alu Lay village of Kyaikto township.
Yesterday 2 drone bombs hit the military council soldiers who were hiding at the intersection of the two lions and in front of the Mk gas station from the west of a tire shop in Alu Lay Village at around 10:00 a.m., another 2 drone bombs at 10:45 p.m. and then the next 2 drone bombs were dropped at around 11:25 a.m., all together with 6 drone bombs, said an official of the Kyaikto Revolution Force.
He said, “The military forces sometimes ambush those places. Most of them hide if they have their routes. The estimated force is about 30. Because the three locations are not far from each other, it is dangerous to go into the area. If we know that they are ambushed, we will follow them and attack with a drone and so they are in disarray.”
He added that after the local people’s defense forces went and bombarded the area where the military council was hiding with a drone, the military council returned fire with a 60 mm gun as well as light weapons. The exact casualties were not clear until now.
“When we went to shoot at them, they shot back. They also shot back with large weapons as well as small arms. The major weapon was 60 mm. When it was a drone mission, they didn’t know the definite location so fired randomly. We don’t know if there were any injuries or not. We are still investigating. They will have injuries. Unless we hit them, they will not shoot us back. If it is an ambush operation, they will shoot them if we hit them,” he said.
The Kyaikto Resolution Force, KNU/KNLA; TPDF, the Sariya column, and the PPDF-KD joint forces also included and attacked with drones towards a place where the military council troops were hiding.
Moreover, last September 4th, a KNLA source said that 3 soldiers from the revolutionary forces had fallen when the military council soldiers who were hiding on the Yangon-Mawlamyine highway in the Alu Lay village, and the KNU Brigade (1st) platoon, clashed on both sides.
According to KNLA news sources, last June, July, and August, the Mawlamyine-Ye-Dawei No. 8 Road, some parts of the road in Nyaunglebin township of Bago province, and some parts of the road in Kyaikto township are being inspected with the Territory rule and when inspection of the roads, there was a clash between the two sides.
